Great course. 9 holes. Lots of fun.

Loved the course! It was maintained really well and just all around pretty. Some of the pin placements were insane however but it added a fun little challenge

Great 9 hike course to introduce golf to your kids. A few water challenges with 2 island greens. In a not bad for a family afternoon with friendly staff. We also were able to goo into town on the turn and have lunch, then picked up right where we left off .

If a country club is like a white-sand beach in the Caribbean, and a public muni is like a beach in Southern California, this course would be like a beach at the Great Salt Lake. It’s the worst course I’ve ever played, and it didn’t help that they punched the greens 2 days before I played. And while I understand punching greens is necessary, what isn’t is leaving the PLUGS ALL OVER THE GREEN! Imagine trying to put a ball through hundreds of 1/2-inch plugs on a putting green. The tee boxes were a mess…long scraggly grass, hadn’t been cut in a week probably, missing markers too. The white tees were behind the blue tees…someone working there didn’t know what they were doing. The ball washers were drier than all the fossils around town. The fairways were extremely bumpy, couldn’t drive a cart full speed without bouncing your bag out of the strap. The bunkers had grass growing in them. The holes were grown over like they hadn’t been cut or moved in weeks. One of the holes had a temporary “green” which was just a flag in the fairway about 30 yards short of the regular green, but there was no cup and the grass was long around the flag. To cap off the 1-star review, while the staff weren’t rude, they weren’t helpful or knowledgeable either. I noticed the practice green was punched when I first walked in, so I asked how long ago they were punched and they said Thursday and Friday (it was Sunday) don’t ask me why it took 2 days to punch a 9-hole course. I asked if they were offering a discount since the greens were in bad shape and they said no. Then they told me #2 had a temporary green. I asked if that was a par 3 and she said she wasn’t sure (might explain the out-of-sequence tee boxes). I said wow, you guys are still charging full price today? What about a complimentary small bucket of range balls to warm up? She said no. So yeah that explains my 1 star rating. The course has potential to be a nice little gem, it’s not ugly, it’s on a unique spot and the water around makes the course interesting, but it’s severely neglected. Not sure if it’s privately or publicly managed but either way I can’t imagine there’s a lot of money flowing through to make it what it what it could be.

This is a fun 9 hole course. They are working on improving the grass on some of the holes so there are some rough spots but I enjoy the challenge of the course. I lose a ball in the river everytime but it just adds to the course's charm!
