Course is beautiful, the ladies in the pro shop are so kind BUT the golf marshal (as he called himself) is a jerk! Came at our group like sir Farquaad from Shriek. He was such a jerk to us on the back nine …. He would have kicked us off but he was off the clock as he told us… we’ve played many courses and are extremely respectful. I watched him Tee off on a hole beside us and he almost fell over.. that makes me think he might have had some drinks or was just having a bad day. Needless to say I don’t care to come back and play again.

Great course for a small city. Staffers were very friendly. It is a par 70. So a little bit shorter then most. But some VERY challenging holes, more so if you have a little cut it draw to your game. Tree lined fairways on a few holes, and scenic views from almost every hole. They also have "tee boxes" (in photos) I couldn't decide if it was like a change bowl at a convenience store, take, leave 1. Or if it was too keep the tee boxes clean (very little tees on the ground) either way it was funny, cute, ingenious. Pick your adjective. Good times overall.

This was a fun course and surprisingly difficult. Greens were in great shape and the views were gorgeous. Julie in the clubhouse was very helpful and super kind. Hope to be back next year!

The golf course is great, unfortunately, the new Marshall and golf pro, Dusty, is terrible, rude, rushing people, won’t listen to reason, and very unprofessional! I am due a refund for the back nine because he insisted we let two people behind us play through who were not even near finishing on the green, so we continued onto the next hole and were going to let them pass then, But he would not listen to reason and was mad that we didn’t let them play through. Why should four of us wait when two players are not even ready to play through?? We played before, we know golf etiquette! VERY disappointed especially to treat locals this way Shameful behavior by the marshal/golf pro Dusty.

My family and I had an unfortunate experience at this course this afternoon. It seems that the city has hired a new golf-pro/marshal ("Dusty") who (apparently) has never had a position with some authority. Dusty has let this smattering of authority go to his head. My family and I have always played this course, and 1 of us plays on a league here. We know how to play and when to let faster groups play through. We were a group of 5 (3 and 2) who were playing together and Dusty tried to split us to let a two-some play through, though they had not yet reached the green on the previous hole. To make a long story short, my family (who were about to tee off on #12) left for the clubhouse to get a refund for the back 9, but Dusty saw us and chased us in...and refused the refund. Dusty was unprofessional, and does not wield his authority well. He didnt want to lose face with his peers, so he made things worse. We immediately went to town hall and filed complaints. There are plenty of other courses we can play at...and we will.
