Perfect for beginners and a quick, casual round. Par 3 with one par 4. Picturesque setting. Great shape for a municipal course.

One of many short courses of MKE County Parks. One Par 4 and the rest Par 3 and they are short. Well maintained greens. Tee boxes need some work. The back 9 is under the tracks a treat to walk. #12 is the best hole.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I didn’t even get a chance to golf and that’s not my biggest issue. I booked a tee time for my husband’s birthday/Father’s Day to use his new gift that allows him to push our stroller with all his golf clubs easily accessible. I walked up to the door and saw the child policy. Okay, so I walked in (with my 1 year old) just to talk to them and see if they had any other suggestions. I immediately was met with scowls from the man and woman who were in there. I smiled and said hi and asked if the policy was strict. They stated yes. Nothing else. No sorry, no smile, just rude. I immediately told them to cancel my tee time and walked out because I was matching their energy. My husband went in smiling to try to talk with them just to see and immediately they scowled at him and stated “I don’t even know how you would do a cart that only fits two”. I never stated I wanted a cart (as we had the stroller) and that was not on my reservation. They were both just extremely rude for no reason when they could have easily smiled, been polite, and would have a chance of my husband and I coming back a different time when we had a sitter. Based off of other reviews, they have a history of rude staff.

We have a senior men's league that has been golfing Hansen for decades. A great group of guys. The course is fun,too.

Fun course with packed-together short (~100 yards average) holes in a surprisingly pretty environment given the surrounding density. The occasional passing Amtrak is a fun reminder that you've only driven 15 minutes from Downtown. Several of the holes have water features, greens have actual character, and it is hard to believe you only paid $15 for 18 well-maintained environments to shoot well over par.
