Nice course, a few long holes, a couple short holes, overall a solid course. Greens and fairways were in great condition given our crazy rain and flooding earlier in the year. Nice bar and a good spicy bloody mary.

Beginning of the golf season & this course is in pretty good shape. Plenty of hazards to keep you on your toes. Pace of play is what you would expect on a Saturday. The cost to play with a cart is in the normal range. There is no practice range.

This is a lovely, challenging course. The entire course is littered with hazards (quite a bit of water & a ton of prairie areas). Prepare ahead of time & bring more balls than you think you’ll need. While we’ve had a ton of rain this season, every single green & tee box was in excellent condition. All fairways in great shape, too. The cart path was quite rough and pretty much the entire thing is due for a total replacement. Plenty of portable toilets stationed along the course, but no “real” bathrooms apart from the clubhouse. Also quite a few water stations with disposable cups available for golfers. Pace of play was slower than I’d like - 5 hours for 18 - but not uncommon for a busy Sunday tee time. I paid $75.96 for 18 with a cart on a Sunday morning. The pro shop attendant (or golf pro?), a middle aged man, was such a gem. Lighthearted & funny. He was a delight. Overall I’d recommend this course and look forward to playing here again.

Decently maintained, but for the money, I would have expected better tee boxes, real sand, beautification and no invasive weeds in fairways. Nonetheless, we had a great time with the gentlemen we were paired with!

We enjoyed our first experience at this course. We played in mid-May the day after a strong (1.5”) rain. Bunkers weren’t playable due to the rain the previous night, but no other signs of excessive water. I can’t even imagine how hard it would be to play here for the first time once all the native vegetation grows tall by mid summer. So many blind shots over marshlands to 90 degree doglegs. Definitely bring your GPS! Greens were on the slow side, but smooth and in good shape. Fairways were excellent. Tee boxes were pretty good, even the oar 3’s. Rough was strange…..literally NO penal aspect to the rough here. It’s really kind of matted down with a heavy thatch layer. Only the weed grasses had meaningfully sprouted. So with that in mind many golfers favor parallel fairways in many cases vs challenging the wetland areas. Quite a few holes with groups playing on one another’s fairway. Many memorable and exciting holes. If your drive is in play you can score, but be prepared to lose a few more balls than usual. Our group walked. Quite a trek from 1 green to 2 tee, but after that it was very manageable. Stop complaining about the cart paths and get some exercise people! I look forward to returning!
