One of my all time favorite courses. For most it’s just another cabin course they stop in at, but for those that have seen the changes and updates over the years it has been a lot of fun to be around! Staff does a tremendous job during the busy months as it can be challenging I’m sure to staff and keep up with busy holiday weekends in cabin country. Truly a great course top to bottom and the beers are always cold, nothing but great things to say about this place, staff and ownership included! If you haven’t had the chance to play it, you’re missing out!

Not a good experience today. Played 18 and teed off at 6:15am, hole 6 was flooded at 7:15am. 1/2” of water all over the green and cup was full. Talked with one of the guys on the mower and he said it’s like this regularly. Tee boxes were in horrible shape, looked like a driving range. Talked with the owner after the round about the water on hole 6 and she just said “ya I heard about it” and asked about the tee boxes and she said “well you don’t have to come here.” I wasn’t looking for my money back or full scale apology but man she couldn’t have cared less. Not the first time I’ve had similar experiences the last couple years. This course could be really good under better management. Would have given zero stars if I could.

Challenging course with nice greens at a very fair price off the beaten path. The clubhouse seems quaint, staff were great, and pretty small pro shop area. But then the added snack shack at the crossing points kept you hydrated. Carts were ok but were a little aged. The green fees were not bad for this course at all and then they have afternoon deals. This was a fun course with lots of twists and turns and terrain. Greens and all the cuts were in excellent order. The crazy number 3 par 3 with the rock wall in front of it and many of the par 3s with terrain added positional play. And then the added 19th hole par 3 way up hill added icing to the cake. This course was off the beaten path but definitely worth the stop to play.

Nice course, fun challenge, but for standard green/cart fees maybe update the carts and add some sand bottles. Additionally, you could tell your "ranger" to be a little more composed about a divot that barely scratched the surface, hence why I suggested the sand bottles. 165 yards out and I dropped that shot 1 foot from the pin too, he should've been shaking my hand.

I finally had the opportunity to play the course today with family; they knew I had been wanting to play here for a few years. The website for this course made it look impressive. This course was good, and I would return based on the 9 holes played today. The positives that it had were courteous staff, ample parking, and wide fairways. There were some intriguing holes, and not many courses can boast about two thirds of its holes being par 3 and 5s. I couldn't recall another course I had played that had the distinction of being a Par 37 for its front nine. The horseshoe shaped practice putting green was interesting, and the rock wall barricade on the third hole was a feature I had never seen before. With the exception of the third hole all tee boxes feature five sets of tee boxes. Most holes featured elevated tee boxes. Additionally, I saw the 19th hole but did not play it because my group kept to the front 9 only. We played at 12:30 today, and I was surprised it was not busier for a Sunday, particularly on Father's Day. The weather was humid and in the low 80s. The course had some standing water on it from a rainstorm the day before. Staff was informative about reminding patrons to keep carts to the designated paths and in the rough. So what kept me from marking five stars on this review? The carts were older and in need of update. Many of the tee boxes did not indicate what hole number you were starting, but there was signage found near the green for the completed hole to point you in the correction direction towards the next hole's tee boxes. The clubhouse seemed smaller compared to a few other courses that hold themselves out as "national" courses. The greens seemed a little thick, and could be patchy. I am hopeful that maybe in a year or two I could return to see whether I can upgrade this one to five stars. Like I said earlier in this review, this was a good or solid experience.
