If you dislike sand traps, this course is for you! I didn’t even realize it until one of my playing partner’s told me. I’ve never hit below 100 until I played here. It’s a not a difficult course if you don’t slice too much. Had a great time with the two guys that played with me. The course was nice and so was the staff.

Very quickly becoming my favorite golf course in the area! As a female I value respectful employees and customers here. No need to worry about harassment that I have received in some courses in Round Lake. Love it here! 💟

Spring Valley is a hidden gem. I am incredibly grateful we have a spot like this nearby. It is never too crowded, so you can actually enjoy a relaxed round. The course is in great shape right now, and the Langford & Moreau design is top-tier. Highly recommend it if you appreciate a classic layout. Plus, do not miss the barbecue at Sweet Caroline’s on Saturday evenings; it is fantastic. I play a lot of nice courses in Chicago, but I would be perfectly happy only playing this course for the rest of my life.

Spring Valley Country Club in Salem, WI is an absolute hidden gem. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure you have a great experience. The pace of play is smooth, the course conditions are consistently top-notch, and the setting offers a peaceful escape that’s hard to beat. Whether you’re a regular golfer or just visiting the area, Spring Valley Country Club is absolutely worth the trip. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.
