Overall not to good of an experience. The last owners were better in my opinion. They jacked the prices up the an outrageous amount. What used to cost me 40 bucks for 18 now cost 70. They don’t have any rakes by the bunkers. No ball cleaners by the tee boxes. The tee boxes are always chewed up and have divots everywhere. Golf outings seem to always be on the weekends to disrupting pace of play. Disappointed.

This place is truly a hidden gem 💎⛳. The ownership and staff are absolutely fantastic and go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience every time you visit 😊👏. It’s clear that the owners are genuinely invested in the course and take pride in maintaining it and the overall atmosphere 🏌️‍♂️✨. From the moment you arrive, you’re always greeted with a warm smile and friendly attitude 😄👋, which really sets the tone for the day. Everything feels welcoming, well-managed, and customer-focused ❤️👍. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to keep coming back again and again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great day on the course ⛳🌟💯.

Came here because I heard they had new owners, wanted to see if anything had changed. Only thing that had changed was the price. Jacked it up to $70, and in my opinion that is not worth it. I can agree with a lot of the more recent reviews, nothing has changed under the new management. This is going to be a bit nit picky, but the tee boxes where littered with hundreds of broken tee's, a lot of the garbage's weren't cleaned up and nearly full, the fairway was not in good condition. Considering the price, I would expect these things to be cleaned up. As a lot of other folks said, none of the bunkers had rakes, and the day that I had played, course maintenance left huge ruts in the bunkers from their lawn mower tires, so if you were to hit it in the bunker, nearly 95% of the time it would get stuck in a deep rut. I am hoping these are just growing pains of new owners, and these things eventually get addressed. But as of right now I will not be returning for $70 for 18 holes.

Utica Golf Course plays ~6,300 yards from the blue tees, and offers an interesting track at times. Conditions were pretty decent, but need work in places. For example, you'll see a LOT of tree stumps on the property (see photos), and it seems like a fair amount of dead trees are still standing on the course. It's a shame that Utica lost so many trees, and I hope they can replant. While the course seemed dry from lack of rain, I feel Utica was watering fairways and greens adequately and doing a decent amount of course maintenance. Front desk and beverage cart staff was friendly and on-task. Pace of play was good for an early morning tee time. Greens rolled true. Golf carts were comfortable and basic (e.g. no GPS to flag). The course design is OK. Hole #18 has a very creative layout, but many holes are simple dog-legs and straightaways, without much elevation change. For whatever reason, sand traps don't have rakes. I'd imagine by the afternoon those traps may be problematic to hit from. No water in ball washers. The fixes for these issues seem pretty simple. Overall, a good track if you can get a good price, but not a destination course.

Been going here for 20 years. Cart/beverage people are very nice. The course is okay, but they have new management this year and have done nothing to improve course and new guy comes out and yells for not parking 30 feet from green when there are no cart signs or marks to show how far away you need to be (was parked about 20 feet away). Have no rakes for the bunkers either. Nothing has improved under new management. Won’t becoming back anymore.
