One of the best maintained courses in the Twin Cities surrounding area. The entire course is also beautiful. The fairways are wide open, with trees separating each fairway. The rough is thick, but interestingly, you can pretty much always find your ball. Tee boxes are green throughout and level. Bunkers and greens are consistent and fair. Throughout the entire round, I felt especially relaxed and peaceful. No one yelling “Fore,” no balls flying over from other fairways, no people wandering over from other fairways, no houses to worry about, and no loons sh***ing everywhere 😂. Also maybe I got lucky, but pace of play (e.g. tee time scheduling) allowed for a relatively fast round.

Very nice course. Played the 18 hole main course and went back to play the links course; the links course is 18 holes but they rotate what 9s are played on days. As far as the old course.... Nice electric carts. Course quality was superb. Lots of blacktopped paths around running the holes. 5&6 cart path only was kind of weird but has to be to avoid getting carts stuck in a mushy bottom. Greens were cut great and rolled all over. Some areas of rough were super thick even just within 2 feet off the fairway. The main course is made for playing 18 as the turn is still way far back with at least a snack shack at the turn. Excellent club house with a nice pro shop area. Nice course but for the green fee prices it would've been nice to also have the gps systems in the carts to aid the play as well.

Course is in great shape. Greens are true and fast. 5&6 cart path only. Very wet year round I bet. Clubhouse is nice. Good friendly staff. Will be back someday.

The course was beautiful and the greens were fast. The management of the course needs to get a ranger on the back nine. It took us 3 hours to finish the back 9. There were 3 groups waiting for a group to get off the green. Then on 18 we figured out that the group in front of them was part of there group and they all stood on the green for 15 minutes bullshitting while we waited. This is unsatisfactory.

A true hidden gem! This is a half hour drive from the twin cities but it's worth it! The staff in the clubhouse were very friendly. The tees, fairways, and greens were in terrific shape. The course winds through tall pines along the river and it gives it the feel that you're playing in Northern Minnesota. Pace of play was very good for a Friday afternoon. 10/10 would recommend!
