We spent the day exploring Sand Valley, and it did not disappoint. Endless rolling sand hills, butterflies everywhere, cactus tucked into the dunes, and some unforgettable sand sledding made for the perfect family adventure. A huge shout out to the Guest Services team for taking such great care of our kids and going above and beyond to make the day easy and fun. The views were incredible, the laughs were nonstop, and the memories were worth every grain of sand we brought home. I f you’re looking for a Wisconsin adventure that’s a little different, I highly recommend adding Sand Valley to your list!

Overall a great experience! I loved every course I played. Rooms were comfortable-- I wish that I could have gotten a reservation for every night that I was in the area. Service was hit or miss and felt more hurried than not. It feels like something is missing if I have to fill up my own water glass or ask for it to be refilled when I'm the only person in the restaurant. Dinner at Aldo's was wonderful- I wish I could eat that chocolate cake every day for the rest of my life

Everything about Sand Valley caters to the golfer. It's the one place on the planet that you'll never see a grown-up angry or frustrated or unhappy to be there. From check in to check out, every detail is well thought out, planned, and set for an experience like no other. The golf is second to none. The dining options are fantastic. The facilities are exceptional. This is as close to Disney Land for golfers as you can find. Every time I leave I think about how quickly I can get back.

My dad and I played Mammoth Dunes with Wonka Jon as our caddie. The course, site, and everything was incredible. Not a single thing was out of place and everybody was so nice. If you want a caddie, please request Wonka Jon. He is the nicest, most down to earth, funniest person I have ever met. He made our day so much better. He was knowledgable on the course, helped us with our games, and had great stories to tell. I would give Wonka Jon all the stars, but I can only give 5!

Highlight of the trip was the Hole-in-One on Sand Valley, Hole #17, 181 yrds & 8 Iron. This was my first ever. The best course was the Lido. Other courses we played were: Sand Valley, Sedge Valley, Sandbox & Commons. We stayed 2 nights on the property, as accommodations are not easy to book. Best is to book a local hotel (Wisconsin Rapids) & then call a day before... that's how we were able stay on the property.
