Unfriendly staff in clubhouse and also some of the least accommodating staff I ever encountered at a golf course. Has been chronic issue this summer. This is iconic since the sign for the course says “friendly staff” recommend going elsewhere

Beautiful course. Fun play. Good variation hole to hole. Will absolutely be back.

Nice course layout, but recent price hikes don't match the quality. Management enforces frustrating "cart path only" rules after minimal rain, even when fairways are perfectly dry with zero puddling. Skip the high fees and play Ives Grove instead for a much better bang for your buck.

Pets is one of my most favorite courses to play. I may be biased, since I'm from Kenosha and grew up on this course, but there is just something about it! The trees are beautiful nearly any time of year and the course is in good shape every time I've golfed. This is a great course for people looking to have a good time together in a leisurely game of golf!

Petrifying Springs Golf Course is a well maintained and challenging course for the casual golfer. The course is well maintained and the staff is friendly. Tip for newbies, if you drop just shot of the green, and bring both a wedge and a putter with you, then forget to pick up your wedge after tossing it on the ground to put, your wedge will be in the pro shop the next day.. just something I've heard has happened to.. other people.
