This is 5 stars all day. The low reviews are from high handicaps. Back 9 is truly incredible. Honestly, holes 6-14 is such a fun test of your golf game. Play a tee up from what you think if its your first time. Good luck if you miss in the wrong spot. Photos dont do it justice so Go Play.

Worst experience of golf ever had. Great corse, beautiful holes, but the pace of play way outrageous. We paid $140+ each for the round and We had the ranger come up to us 4 different times telling us to play faster while there was a group still on the hole in front of us. I will never go back to this course. They even offered us a free round at the end when we complained but they can keep it. 0 stars if I could

The links at Lawsonia is very over-rated. The conditions of a course charging $133.00 for a round of golf were very disappointing. From tee to green, the conditions were very dry, surprisingly with a beautiful large, deep Green Lake to keep fairways and greens soft and playable. If you want a great links course at half the value travel south to Washington County Golf Course in Hartford, WI. Great layout, super nice people and conditions were perfect. Myself and my group will not return to Lawsonia, it is too bad as I heard too many good things.

I love this place and it’s really thriving right now. I love the atmosphere, staff and the courses speak for themselves. The staff is my all-time favorite, which says a lot, I’ve been playing here for 25 plus years now. They recently updated their golf carts which is a big investment for any course. The links remains rustic like it should and the woodlands is lush and green. A great contrast in play and looks. Both are beautiful At sunset but the links just pops at the golden hour. Cost has gone up like everything else. I don’t hold it against them and it’s still a far cry from whatever Wisconsin’s trendy courses are charging. I can’t wait to come back here, every single year.

$137 for greens that are dead and kick up sand when you hit your approach shot lol. I understand spring golf but holy moly it was terrible. Staff was nice, amenities are good, but if you care about course condition steer clear your moneys spent better else where
