Very nice 9 hole course with tons of variety. Plays to 3,073 from back tees. Designed in 1929 and is a wonderful layout by Tom Bendelow. It was in great shape. The cost is high as you are in the Lake Geneva area. Pretty hilly and tough to hold some greens.

As soon as we walked up the ranger said “It’s my job to be mean.” He was making comments about our clubs, poking fun at us for not knowing where the score cards were, but we’ve golfed before and know how rangers can be. Played on the course and had a lot of fun. The group behind us kept picking up their balls and taking them right to the putting green, so we felt a little rushed, but still no big deal. Finished and the ranger told us we took too long and held up the group behind us. Tried to explain that they were rushing, but he still insisted we were the problem. He said “do it in an hour and half next time.” We’re locals and this was our first time at this course. Not used to unfriendly people around the Geneva Lake area. We were the only people he had condescending words for, even from when we first arrived. Super disappointing end to a fun golf outing. Unfortunately won’t be back.

The course is a super fun 9 hole course. A great deal!!! Super long holes and wonderful greens. The starter today is angry but it gives you a big laugh for the rest of the day. We didn’t get her name we were too scared to ask. A definite play with early start total run takes just over two hours. Can be super fast if course not crowded. Highly recommend but make sure you leave the cart near the hose or he will share his story that he plays all over the world and etiquette is to return cart near trash can and hose. Start a bit rough in clubhouse course is perfect and it ended as it began.

This course is relatively short. Where it lacks in distance, it makes up for- from a technical standpoint. Rolling hills and elevation changes provide a few blind green approach shots. Bunkers and water hazards are sparse. The condition is great. Tee boxes were in good shape. The rough isn’t bad. Easy to spot your ball, sparing wasted time. It gets a little busy, but never packed. Clubhouse superintendent was very accommodating and welcoming. All in all this course is a hidden gem. I will be returning, and would highly recommend.

Well taken care of course. 9 holes that are well thought out and executed. I golf at a lot of the other local resorts and private courses that charge a lot more... This course it right up there with them but priced much more reasonably. Don't forget to ring the bell...
