Very nice and clean, you can get food and drinks, didn't eat anything so I can't comment on the food. Very quiet and peaceful place. The guy working was a very nice and friendly guy

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) This review is for the indoor bar and grille only. We arrived about two hours before closing and were immediately reminded that the grille would be closing soon. We asked to order drinks at the bar but were told to wait for a server. When we went to the golf simulator bays, we had our kids with us, and the bay doors were repeatedly closed. Even though our group wasn’t loud or disruptive, it made us feel like we were a burden and didn’t really belong there. Our server was friendly and attentive. One of our meals came out incorrectly, but it was replaced with the correct order quickly. They also forgot an appetizer we ordered. The burgers were so undercooked that we couldn’t eat them. We rented golf clubs for one hour and needed three sets because we had a left-handed player and children. We only used four clubs total but were still charged the full $20 rental fee, which was disappointing. The atmosphere was great, but overall we left feeling more like an inconvenience than welcomed guests. Between the food issues, communication, and extra charges, the experience was just average.

I'm a seasonal resident who has seen a complete and very positive transformation of this course under the current owner. The course is in great shape and well maintained. The pub and clubhouse have undergone a complete face-lift with considerable investment by the current owner. I would highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already!

Extremely rude staff for a short, "family friendly" course. I went with 4 golfers and 2 riders, was instantly turned away by the clubhouse and told we couldn't have a 3rd rider on one of the carts - even if it was a 5 year old. Apparently the guy in charge is the president of all golf courses in North America, because his confidence was through the roof when he twice said "no golf course allows that". Funny thing is this same course let me ride in one cart with my two boys LAST YEAR. Then the guy proceeded to flat out lie, saying it was a 45 minute wait. Doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out that on a walk on, no Tee time course - if there is only one group on the Tee box and no one else in the parking lot or around the club house, that's just B.S. Never coming back here. Bunch of clowns wielding what little power they have in life to turn away a group of young golfers simply because they didnt like the look of them. Edit: Two adult drivers for the carts. It was 4 kids. Two around 10 years old, one was 5. All had their own golf clubs. Last kid is a 2 year old who was going to ride. So the story about kids being younger a year ago is both factually true and a laughable response. Saying it's not allowed anywhere when they allowed it before is ridiculous. Also, the front door to the clubhouse was locked during the "busiest" part of the day and we were turned away before we even got inside. So it was impossible to see anything in there..and again, the parking lot had plenty of space. Course just won't admit they didn't want us to play.

We chose Stonehedge because it was recommended as a family-friendly restaurant, but that was not our experience. We came with our extended family, including four young children. There was no kids’ menu, no milk, no children’s cups, and the kitchen wouldn’t even steam a simple vegetable for our toddlers. The owner was the reason we’ll never return. When we politely shared that the restaurant wasn’t as family-friendly as advertised, he immediately became defensive, replied, “We’re a pub,” and ended the conversation by asking, “Did you see your table that you left behind?” Shaming a family with toddlers for leaving a typical mess was incredibly rude and unprofessional. If you’re looking for a place that genuinely welcomes families with young children, I would absolutely choose another restaurant. We won’t be back.
