This has always been a beautiful course. Love the layout, wide fairways and lush conditions. Try to drive up from Milwaukee to play it once per season or so. Bunker renovations turned out well. We played this past Sunday. The only suggestion I’d give is to send someone out with the ball mark repair tool and fix some of the greens, especially 2 and 10. I hit one to 5 feet on #2 and had to putt through a mine field. I had 15 feet into #10 and had a lot in my line as well. I know golfers need to help by repairing their own marks but hopefully this is part of the daily maintenance, but it seems it should be done more often.

Easy to get to and an early bird opener every year. Pretty good quality course. Some holes run close to the nearby interstate so noise can be a thing there. This course drains fairly well so it tends to be an early opener each year and typically pretty dry even when lots of rain comes through. Some terrain and rolling green challenges make for some good golf.

My Husband (hehehehe) and I just had our wedding here at the Oaks this past weekend and I cannot say enough how amazing it was. The staff (shoutout Katie) were just the best. The whole process of getting the wedding ready from start to finish was so easy with them. They were very patient and if I wanted something changed, they were ready to do it and with a smile! I think the nicest part was that Katie was there the day of our wedding helping us get down the isle on time, lining everyone up and making sure it all went smooth. That made my life SOOOOO much easier. The ceremony/reception space is gorgeous as well. We really didn't have to do a lot of decorating because the space really spoke for itself. We had the last warm beautiful day of October. The day was just so dreamy. I am one happy bride/wife :)

Perfect space for a large guest count. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. As a wedding photographer, there are plenty of places to choose from for photos. Everything you need is in one place!

My husband and I, along with our friend, golfed at The Oaks for the first time in September 2025, and it was such a great experience. The guest service at the pro shop, bar, and bev cart was absolutely on point. At one point I needed a nail file, and the team went above and beyond—searching everywhere and even finding me on the driving range to bring one. It was such a small request, but they treated it with genuine care. The golf course itself was beautifully maintained, and the electric carts were clean, comfortable, and easy to drive. We wrapped up our round with Oktoberfest at The Oaks, dancing to the polka band, enjoying warm pretzels, and sipping beer. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back in 2026!
