Stopped in for a quick round on the executive course on our way to a Brewer game. We had a wonderful golf experience and the staff was very friendly. While their bar and grill was not open, it looked like the perfect place to host a party or have a frosty beverage after a round. In the pro shop, unique items like black clover apparel and custom putter covers were a great find. On the course conditions were fast and firm. The imagination needed around the greens and nerves needed for some knee knocking putts led to a fun-filled round. We will definitely be back.

This is a nice course just east of Madison. I’ve played the 18-hole Championship course a few times. All of the rain this summer has really helped and things look nice and green. However, there’s quite a bit of standing water throughout the course in some places — seems like maybe it’s taking a day or two to drain out. Most of the bunkers were in a bit of rough shape. Quite a bit of erosion and hadn’t been raked even by the end of the day. Of course, if you stay out of them, it’s not a problem. Several greens looked like a war zone with divots all over the place. However, I understand that golfers could be doing a better job and repairing, so I can’t fault the course entirely for that. Nice outdoor patio & outdoor bar. There’s also a driving range a short cart ride from the clubhouse. We played as a 2-some for a twilight round and they didn’t require us to pair up, despite other 2-somes and a solo player all arriving around the same time. I appreciated this. I’ve been paired up before at Door Creek during busy times, but it’s nice that at a slower time in the day, they allowed us all to have separate tee times so long as we were ok with waiting.

Such a beautiful golf course tucked between farms and away from the city. Excellent golf course, excellent staff and one of the most beautiful patios to enjoy the sunset after playing a round.

Fairly nice. Didn’t play only at the range - There was a corporate gathering or event so they limited their menu because of it … I believe even if there is a private event you shouldn’t close off the menu completely. If you want to then close off the whole venue.

Maybe the course is great, maybe not, but I'll never know. 1. Made reservation over phone for executive course for my daughter and me and asked for a cart since she's learning. No problem! 2. It was a problem. We get there and the guy says the carts are all basically taken for the main course. Mkay. Would we like to use push carts conveniently located at the executive course (some distance away)? I tell him it's our first time here so lemme think about it while we go to range. 3. Walk to range (not too too far, but not close), and only takes cash or tokens. This would be great information to volunteer at the counter when someone's new (don't most take cards now?) so had to walk back and forth for that as an added treat. 4. After range, we drove to the executive course, and guess what? No push carts. 5. Drive back. May we borrow two from here and bring them back? Nope. Bossman doesn't allow that. 6. Asked for refund and with attitude got that done. Wont be back. Maybe this will help you navigate your first time. No one could do that for us.
