Normally I would have given this course 4 stars. It's an old style course which was in good shape considering the dry conditions, and it played well. However, on the back 9 we were behind an 8-some. Yes....an 8-some. We had to quit early as it was going too painfully slow for us. We stopped at the pro shop to inquire about it, and found out that the pro shop allowed it. No apologies. No refunds offered. For that reason, we will never golf there again.

Great course and excellent environment. If you want to feel old school cc vibes then book a tee time here. The conditions are always good with quick and small putting surfaces. It's an older course design so holes are tight but not overly long. There's one or two quirky holes but otherwise excellent layout. Great value as well and worth the drive.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Old Hickory, the whole staff and especially Brittany and her team! Our wedding was the most perfect day and Brittany and her team were seriously amazing. They were so accommodating to everything, always having cold water for us and just being awesome. I would 100% recommend this venue to any bride looking at it. I feel like its a hidden gem and my husband and I are so lucky to have stumbled upon it!

Nice course, conditions wonderful, but. Made reservation for one 8:20am three days before by phone. Single, looked to be joining two others it looked like on web site. Got to old H and, no reservation. Starter did get me off alone, ok good. Well this is around 8am and I was surrounded for 12 holes by grounds crew. Cutting greens in front and approach cutter guy following me and waiting every hole. Roller guy mixed in also. These guys should surely be far on the back nine or finished at that time of the morning. I will give it another try in the future as the course is very nice.

Decent course, but the lawn mowing employees are extremely rude and would drive right at us not 100 yards away in our line shots multiple times. Never once slowed down when coming right behind us when lining up a shot. Also no cage on the range mower so unable to practice prior to playing our round. The bar also was not open in the morning and our group had to wait unit hitting the turn to get some drinks. I won't be paying for another round here.
