Overall great course. A very fun and challenging course. A few spots still growing after the renovations but tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in great shape. Bunkers were raked well. I think it will be a top notch course by next season. The only thing I could slightly gripe about would be the cost but the course doesn't disappoint and the staff is friendly.

I played here on 7/16 while in town on vacation. The course was in great shape and I enjoyed the layout. Overall had a great time!. The greens tend to be on the smaller side so I recommend aiming for the middle!

Zero handicap - These changes are unfriendly towards high handicaps. The greens are elevated, a few have multiple tiers, and nasty falloffs if the ball rolls the wrong way after clearing the front of the green and perhaps a bunker - the type of shot higher handicaps struggle mightily with. The shot then runs down the hill over the green and it takes 3-6 shots for them to recover. For myself, there were several shots to the greens that were extremely small targets that made little sense. I enjoyed the old course more. Pleasant but not unreasonable. Nice rustic course in the northwoods. Really enjoyed this course and boy was it challenging. Fairways were overall in pretty good shape but many where sloping or had rolloffs that positional play was very crucial. Rough was pretty long and at times hard to get out of. Greens in very good shape and rolled fast and sloping a lot. Many challenging turns in the layout. Mature woods all around this course. Rates for the course were fair for this course. Smallish pro shop and a good local feel rustic looking clubhouse. Great staff. Gotta check out the trout river as it winds around the course.

A lovely course with natural beauty. The clubhouse, staff, and chicken sandwiches were excellent. Played 9 Saturday morning and had such a nice time we came back for 18 on Sunday. The screen porch was a delightful place to wait out some rain.
