Called the course to find out if I could golf if I showed up before 6:30. I got there at just after 6:00 and was told they had teams playing and I wouldn't be able to golf. I have golfed this course more than any other in the area and did so because it was a relaxed place to learn how to golf. It looks like I will have to find another course to call home.

Absolutely blown away. “The Winfield Dads” were looking for an open course while our boys had a practice round for the WV State Tournament up the road. We called to set a tee time, they had one open in an hour. We were told the course condition was “perfect”. Massive understatement to say the least. Perfectly groomed bentgrass fairways, very well manicured greens, not a weed in sight, mature trees, super friendly staff, pace never an issue. It was all beyond perfect. Every one of us commented that we’d have paid double or more for this course. Residents of this area—you have a true hidden gem in this course. Spoke to the owner after our round, loved hearing about his passion for the place and taking care of those that have helped make him successful by keeping prices reasonable. We’ve agreed this will be an every year round (or two) for the next three years during State Championship week. What a course!!

The folks at this course are always very nice and accommodating. The greens today were in mostly very good shape, 2 of them had some dead spots. Tee boxes and fairways were also in good shape. This course is very open and if you spray it you can still get around ok. There are 2 holes with some water in front of the greens (5 and 16) avoid the water and you likely will score well. It was nice to see the course being worked on by several mtce members. So often you see no attention to a course being given.

It's a bit of a drive for me, but absolutely love this course! I would also like to note that the staff couldn't be any nicer. Excellent customer service!!

Went golfing with a couple buddies the other day. The owner was very rude acted like a major A hole, I’ll make sure I send people to other golf courses until he retires or sells.
