Parkersburg Country Club is one of the state’s longstanding private clubs, offering a traditional 18-hole course with a classic member-golf feel. The layout tends to reward strategy and consistency—being in the correct spot off the tee sets up the entire hole. Greens and surrounds often do the heavy lifting on difficulty, so strong iron play and tidy short game work are key to scoring. The club atmosphere is a big part of the appeal: tournaments, leagues, and a social calendar that makes it more than just a golf course. If you enjoy polished, traditional private-club golf in WV’s Mid-Ohio Valley region, Parkersburg is a cornerstone option.

Nice enough place. But I think One of the lifeguards could pay a little more attention to the kids instead of the young men. The food is really good there I especially like the club sandwich as the bacon is outstanding. Everyone there is friendly. The water is clean and the grounds kept nice.

We hosted our Jackson 8th grade formal at the Parkersburg Country Club and I can not say enough good things about the entire staff, highlighting Elle especially. She was a dream to work with and made certain everything was exactly as planned. If you are considering an event of any size - this venue is a 5 Star choice.

Attended a 50 person function. Appetizers were very good and plentiful. Meal was also good. Staff was vigilant and quick to provide coffee, water or tea. Young and enthusiastic. Much improved in all aspects since last December.

It was my first time there and was totally enjoyable. The dining room sits overlooking the greens, the food was Top Notch and the servers were friendly and efficient. There were about 10 in our party and everything was done well and all had a great evening.
