Cherry Hill Country Club in Richwood is a mountain-course experience with real small-town charm, perched in a scenic setting that feels removed from everything. The elevation and surroundings give the round a distinct Appalachian flavor—expect holes where the landscape is part of the challenge as much as the design itself. It’s known for being a “beautiful but demanding” course, where clean ball striking matters and you can’t just spray it and recover easily. The clubhouse and social side tend to be welcoming and straightforward, making it a comfortable stop whether you’re a member or visiting with locals. If you enjoy golf trips that mix scenery, nostalgia, and a little grit, Cherry Hill is the kind of place you’ll remember.

Played here with my father when I was a kid and I was terrible at golf. Found myself here again fifty years later and after seeing the course and the prices I wish I had brought my sticks. This place is far nicer than I remember and looked to be in primo shape. Yes I am still terrible at golf

Great 18 hole course. Mon thru Fri is $20 with cart all the golf you can play dawn to dusk. Membership with a cart is super reasonable. If you are in the area this is a must do.
