Greenbrier Hills Golf Club is a nine-hole course near Rainelle that plays as a local staple—easy to access, easy to replay, and enjoyable in a relaxed setting. It’s the kind of place where the course rewards steady play more than hero shots, so keeping the ball in play and trusting your short game is the scoring formula. Because it’s nine holes, it’s perfect for quick after-work rounds, practice loops, or playing 18 by going around twice with different strategies. The vibe is friendly and community-driven, with the course often serving as a hub for local golfers and small events. If you want a straightforward nine that still offers enough variety to stay interesting, Greenbrier Hills is a solid choice.

Very good course but the only thing is that the greens are a little rough and the fairways could be shorter but other than that it’s a very nice course👍🏼

whoever maintains the course are terrible. Sand traps are more like a weed trap. the fairways are not fair ways. Around the greens are dead spots or bare/dead. This course is destined to be fields the way the workers maintain the course. Its laughable because the people who maintain the course treat it like its a normal yard and not a golf course. Never open. No carts.
