I hope this gem is preserved for many years. The course design is clever, making you balance risk/reward on a lot of drivers and approaches. Number 17 is one of my favorite holes I've played in the past few years. When I played, the greens were slow due to wet conditions, but I felt they were managed as well as possible given the limitations. Fairways were a little spotty in places but very playable on every hole. I didn't see many others walking, which is a shame, as I feel the course lends itself to a good experience on foot.

Great layout, but conditions are poor. Greens are crusty in spots and some fairways are mostly crabgrass. The new owners are really trying but it's a slow process. I wish them the best of luck.

If you’re looking for a good course that won’t break the bank I extremely recommend this course beautiful views across the back nine very challenging but good holes fairways looked incredible the grounds staff is very kind and always willing to move out of the way for you to hit your shot and even give you compliments for good ones the back nine of this course is extremely beautiful and challenging minor fairway and greens marks the staff is excellent and very kind

A little overgrown in the rough, but for a public course in this area you can't beat it. It's a Robert Trent Jones design so bring your A game. Greens are heavily guarded and the tee ball is king. Pace of play may be an issue, but it's not the cause of your poor round. Lol. The only real issue I would have are the tee boxes and a very sparse pro shop. I collect ball markers, so the pro shop issue is personal.
