Valley View is a friendly public course that lives up to its name—open sightlines, rolling terrain, and a relaxed pace that makes it great for everyday rounds. The layout is generally approachable for newer golfers, but it still rewards better players who control distance and avoid careless misses. You’ll typically see a good balance of holes where you can be aggressive and others where playing conservatively is the smarter scoring move. It’s a solid choice for leagues and casual group play because the course doesn’t feel overly punishing while still providing enough variety to stay interesting. If you’re looking for a comfortable local 18 that’s enjoyable and repeatable, Valley View fits that niche.

Attended the Pilgrim's CCP Team Golf Tournament here and had a great time, very nice well-kept course with a variety of different shots. Definitely plan to play here again if I get back in the area!

Beautiful golf course!! I’ll put it up with almost any course in the state! Pro shop has plenty of last minute needs you may have forgotten and a great snack bar for lunch. Did I mention ICE cold beer. The picture below is the 8th hole at dusk.

Beautiful course, beautiful views, this course is a real honey hole. Greens especially in good shape, my only complaint was when we arrived, the owner (I assume) came off as hostile saying that he'd have us arrested if we brought our own beer on the course, even tho we had no intentions of drinking on the course at all. Just wasn't a warm welcome, not a good way to meet someone. That's pretty much the only thing holding back a 5 star review. 40 bucks might also be a bit much for course fee but it was close to worth it.

Extremely nice staff and Patrick the Superintendent does an amazing job keeping the course beautiful. I would highly recommend playing a round of golf here. You will not be disappointed. Happy T ing off!
