Woodridge Golf Club in Mineral Wells is a well-regarded public course in the Mid-Ohio Valley area, known for solid conditioning and a layout that balances playability with real challenge. The routing offers variety—holes that invite a confident tee shot mixed with stretches that tighten up and demand accuracy and smart club selection. Scoring tends to come down to approach play and putting, because greens reward the correct angle and distance control more than sheer power. It’s also a strong course for events and leagues, since it can play meaningfully tougher depending on setup while still staying fair. If you’re looking for one of the better “everyday championship” public rounds in the Parkersburg area, Woodridge is a top choice.

My group was down from Michigan for my daughter’s wedding which was near this course. We decided to golf here the morning of their wedding rehearsal. This course was beautiful and the staff was great. We golfed here in late October and of course there was a frost advisory when we got there. We ended up waiting 30 minutes for the frost to thaw out. So we sat inside and talked to the female employee (I don’t recall her name, but she was pregnant). She was great, she helped us pass the time with laughs and jokes. After about 10 minutes my group went out side and just took in the view, Beautiful…. If I’m ever back down that way, I will 100% golf there again.

PSHS Class of 1980 HS Reunion was Aug 2, 2025. The Links at Woodridge folks are wonderful to work with: organized, prepared and helpful. The room was a wonderful space and the food was outstanding. The balconies with a beautiful sunset view were a bonus to our evening. Very professional, very reasonable price and just an excellent experience. Thank you Caroline and Robin!

This course has been around for a number of years changing ownership fairly regularly. The greens are small but very well maintained offering multiple levels. Unfortunately, the rest of the course is not maintained very well. From the t you can't ascertain clearly what is fairway and what is rough. There are some quirky holes. Trees and shrubbery are not trimmed very well. The bunkers are no longer maintained with sand. There are five or six tee boxes per hole which offers you about any distance you want to play.

We use this venue for a wedding shower. From the first time we went and viewed the venue, Caroline was amazing. She answered all of our questions, no matter how many there were and was prompt to answer them throughout the entire time. She was also very accommodating for us getting in early To set up. We really appreciated everything. The food was really good and there was plenty of it. We definitely would use this venue again without hesitation.
