We had a family golf outing at Fisher Mountain this weekend and it was an amazing experience! The course is beautiful and well kept. The staff was over the top. Everyone we met was super courteous and helpful! There are several golf courses within 30 minutes of our home , but all agreed Fisher Mountain was well worth the 1 hour drive. We will certainly be back!

One of the most amazing public golf courses, I have played in West Virginia. Long holes with breath taking views. Challenging greens but kept in amazing shape. If you are in Harrisonburg VA and want to golf a great course hike over mountain on the beloved Country Roads of WV and enjoy “the almost heaven” of this course.

First time playing this course. We were staying at Canaan and drove the hour and 15 minutes over two mountains to play. The course is overall in good shape. It is very hilly, with a lot of fairways steeply slanted sideways. Be careful on the tee boxes. They are small and point you away from the direction you really need to go. The greens were in good shape but not particularly fast. Not particularly slow either. The greens have a lot of break to them so they really can't run them over 10 or they would be unplayable. Fairly nice driving range with bays and an automatic ball dispenser using a credit card. You hit from mats. Fairly small pro shop and we did not see any women's clothing in there. We would definitely play it again.

Very unique and beautiful golf course set in West Virginia mountains.. The club house was very nice and has a room you can rent for special occasions..

What a beautiful and challenging course. The fall leaves and the crisp air made it the perfect day for an October golf outing. My foursome was able to land their balls on the island; albeit after 3 of us had to take a drop. That, in itself, provided bragging rights forv the day. The tiered and angled greens, along with the hills and valleys make this an exciting day of fun, challenge, frustration, and laughter. A must play course in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia.
