Beautiful golf course, in great condition. Very friendly and hospitable staff. We had a great time.

Warning - Becky is training new staff! Never have I seen her check any ID to determine cart driving ability. I’ll advertise so you know/ if your 16+ teen doesn’t have a drivers license, for ANY reason, don’t expect them to be able to drive a cart at Grandview on Becky’s shift (unless her boss isn’t around). Even if they play on a school team. Even if they’re members. even with a birth certificate. Even though she’s done it every single time prior to. Even though alcohol policies may be ignored and even though (dui, vision test failure, etc) adults are repeatedly being permitted to drive a cart-without being required to produce a valid drivers license. I guess adhering to that would really be bad for business than the youth. How discouraging to the future generations. Be consistent in your discrimination. Parents of aspiring golfers know and look forward to 16 - no longer being required to chaperone while also being forced to pay as a rider. How disappointing after investing $ hundreds at this business. These teens have been driving pedal push vehicles since they were two. The offered alternative? They can walk the course. As a veteran - I applaud following rules… consistently. In this case, take your business elsewhere. Bottom line- She was called out, avoided accountability and in an effort to save face, accused a teen of lying. No go. Other local, modern and clean, courses have NO problem. At only 16+, give other courses the thousands of future revenue. It’s also disappointing to learn that the West Virginia State Golf Association does not recognize this 1970’s club among the state golf courses honoring the WVGA USGA “Allied Golf Association” annual VIP Card. Other local courses do. On a positive note, Gena, Angel, and others are fabulous and we’ve always loved their Sam’s Club sandwiches. You’re welcome. 🙏

Some old man worker was following my husband his brother and dad the entire time. The old man didn’t want them there and kept complaining to them and how they were playing. I called and complained. The front desk lady was very kind and polite. But they will never go back there. I guess back to glade we go…

Grandview used to be a nice course to play. The atmosphere and course management was excellent. In recent months tho it has gone downhill. Not so much the course itself, its still in nice shape, just the people running it. We went out with our 78yr old uncle who hadn't played in years. We had a 4some. When a 2some came up behind we let them play thru. The gung ho "ranger" stopped at us 4 times on the front 9. Tried to make us play best ball. We weren't slow. We were 4 so of course pairs were gonna be faster but he told us point blank to stop letting people thru because "we were messing up the flow". Finally after giving back what we were getting he relented and left us alone. Im not paying 40 plus bucks to be hurried by Mr. Know it all "golf guy". I will never go back. Black Knight golf club is right down the road. Its just a 9 hole course but just as nice and managed by better people.

Great place! Very impressed first time playing the course.
