Guess the 16 bucks for a medium bucket of balls isn’t enough to keep the lights on these days. The person on staff shut the lights off on me at 745. I had 5 balls left to hit. I asked the employee if there was a time that I should try to be done next time if they try to wrap things up a little early and after claiming he never saw me, he went on to explain that he had been instructed to turn the lights off if only one person was still hitting…

I am a terrible golfer… but I had so much fun at this place! This is the coolest driving range I’ve ever seen and as a bonus, it’s HEATED. The food is super tasty and restaurant has an awesome atmosphere. I haven’t tried the cocktails, but I will on my next trip. I can’t wait to come back!

Phenomenal course + range for the price. Staff is always friendly, food is great, and prices are VERY generous compared to courses like apple tree. They make it really easy to set up tee times, or even hit a bucket of balls (especially if it isn’t packed). I do appreciate that even when they close or if you’re a bit passed your time for the range, they don’t bother you or rush you to finish. You’re allowed to hit every ball until it’s you finished. Always appreciate that! My only wish for the future is for potentially upgraded turf mats. The mats can feel a bit worn down or too thin at times, especially for my arms. I would say if anything, go thicker on the mats so that way the impact is less harsh. Also, would like to see the tee options on all of the bays. The tee sizes kind of vary at times depending on who last used it. Sometimes it’s a really long one, or maybe another that someone cut (I know that’s not westwoods fault, probably other customers); I usually just grab one and replace it if it’s not the standard size, but would like to see the 3 options on every bay if possible in the future. Overall, great experience!

We rented clubs at Westwood and during a completely normal swing, one of the drivers broke. No slamming, no throwing, no misuse — just regular play. They immediately charged us $100. Here’s the part that doesn’t sit right: the last time we were there, we were told there were no drivers available because they were already broken. So if broken drivers are a recurring issue, how is that suddenly the customer’s financial responsibility? These are heavily used rental clubs. Wear and tear happens. If equipment is already weakened from repeated use, that’s a maintenance issue — not customer negligence. Charging full replacement cost for what appeared to be older rental equipment feels unfair and honestly like passing operational costs onto customers. It sucks because I was already planning on throwing a bday party here and now I’m just having second thoughts idk this just doesn’t sit right to me. inspect them carefully before you tee off — apparently if it breaks, you’re buying it. UPDATE: After I posted my review, management reached out to me directly and took the time to discuss what happened. They ended up refunding me and were respectful in how they handled the situation. I really appreciate when a business follows up and tries to make things right after a concern is raised. That said, I’m glad management addressed the issue and worked with me to resolve it.

Westwood golf course is a great course with nice employees but the management is horrendous. I played a round of golf for the first time this year there and they ask for IDS to rent a cart so I obviously gave it to them. I ended up accidentally leaving it because of not being used to this rule here. I found out I left it two days after I played. The reason I found out was one of the Managers Sam came to my door saying he had my ID and that I apparently damaged one of his carts. I ask what damage and proof that is was me on the cameras which then he said he didn't even check yet. So I end up going down there to pick up my ID after calling Sam and letting him know I'd be there within 5 minutes. I got there and he stayed in his office after the front desk employee called him numerous times. I waited for 45 minutes and then left. This was one of three time of coming here JUST TO PICK UP MY ID. He calls me after I leave and says "did you just come in" and I said yes I told you that and he goes oh. Then tells me that one of his employees has my ID that isn't even on the clock and even tells me he looked back at the footage and it wasn't me and said it was a blonde kid and kind of looked like me. I also have brown hair so how would that make sense. So I go back after work as he told me to and he still won't answer after I get there I called and so did his employee. So then I leave again and I give my number to the guy at the front desk so he could call me when he gets it. So after about 2 hours I get a call from sam and he says " Hey I got your ID at the front desk" and I was like cool and let him know that I'm very frustrated with the communication that he had. He then says " Welp next time don't leave your ID at Westwood Golf Course bye". With a very rude tone and so I go and get it and of course he ain't there. This time I actually got it. This could be a legal issue if wanted. You can't just keep my ID from me after I try to get it and wasn't guilty of any type of destruction or even was rude about it. Very disappointed in this golf course and how they run things. One good thing about them is that their front desk employees are always helpful and very patient.
