Played a consistent pace right at 4 hours and marshals were hounding us the whole time. They were very rude about trying to move faster even though the people behind were not playing on our heels. T boxes were not great. If you want a place to enjoy the round and not be hounded don’t recommend. By looking at other reviews looks like the Marshals need to figure out how to do their job better. Talked to the manager and he didn’t seem to care. Probably won’t play here again.

Play any other course in Spokane. The course is well manicured but the staff is some of the worst I’ve experienced. Unhelpful front desk, rude employees and constant Marshalls playing hall monitor. We played a busy day on the heels of another group and were yelled at multiple times by the Marshall to “hurry it up” while we played a 2 man scramble. Unacceptable behavior from the staff for our vacation golf spot.

The city needs to investigate the way they run things here. It is the good ol boys club and they run the tee times off the books. I booked a tee time online for a solo filling in with a twosome. When I got there and paid I went over to the starter and his sheet moved me alone at a 4 minute interval teatime that doesn’t exist. I couldn’t go because the tee time I booked had 5 now. The guys in the 5some said “We do this every day bud figure it out”. They would not answer the starter. Meanwhile every tee time left with five to six people until I got plugged in later now as a magical 5. After that on hole 2 that has 15 people on it because of how they get all their buddies out each morning. They start driving by everyone because there a high school tournament starting. They say “ya’ll better play fast today” to every group before even starting. The people that run the tee times definitely hook their large group up with whatever they want each day and create chaos.

This was me first time trying to learn how to golf. My family is very into golf! They have been playing down river for over 45 year's. My mom Karen is part of the ladies league and my dad Gary, well he was a baby on this course and his house were he grew up is only 4 blocks away. They know everyone down at this course. I'm mean just ask the people there! They can play this course in their 😴😴💤💤. They love it so much. You will probably see them there!

First the good. The course was in nice shape, the location is lovely, the terrain and holes are interesting, the price is reasonable. Lots of potential here for a really fun day of golf. But... the pace of play was SLLOOOWWWW. There were sometimes five groups stacked up at par 3's. There was no marshal or course staff to be seen to help keep things moving. The group directly in front of us was especially slow because "we are playing for money" so took their time with every shot... every putt.... you'd have thought I was watching the US Open play out in front of me. I'd pay the bets off if it meant keeping them moving. It isn't much fun to wait minutes for every shot you take. Bottom line, nice course but get somebody out there in a cart to watch what's going on. There were multiple people working the pro shop. Send one of them out to monitor pace of play. There was a starter working at the first tee box so you have the idea but that is where it all ended.
