Wow. I never thought I could have a bad day on the golf course, however, after playing a round at Eagle's Pride I now know that is possible. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this golf course and would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here. I called ahead to reserve a tee time for five people for a scramble, fully aware that this is not standard. I was told over the phone that it would not be an issue and that two tee times would be reserved for us. When we arrived, staff again confirmed everything was fine. We were excited to play, as we were celebrating both a birthday and Easter. After the second hole, a marshal approached us and said that five players were not allowed due to pace of play concerns. We explained we were playing a scramble, and he agreed to let us continue as long as we kept pace and allowed faster groups to play through. This was completely reasonable, and we assured him it wouldn’t be a problem... and it wasn’t. Things took a turn on the 10th tee box. Despite there being no groups behind us, the General Manager, Jeff Clark, stopped us after we had already teed off and told us we could no longer continue playing as a group because it violated course rules. We explained that we understood the rules but had been explicitly given permission by staff, the front desk, and the marshal, and that we had been maintaining proper pace of play. Instead of acting like a professional, he got visibly angry, red in the face, accused us of lying, and even called us “bad customers.” He doubled down by claiming there were no bad reviews with his name in them, as if that somehow proves he can’t be wrong. It was arrogant, dismissive, and completely out of line. When we asked for a refund after having our round cut short for something his own staff approved, he refused to do anything. No accountability, no attempt to resolve the situation, just pure attitude. This completely ruined what was supposed to be a special day. Easily the worst experience I’ve ever had at a golf course. The lack of communication is bad enough, but the way the General Manager handled the situation was far worse. Save yourself the headache and play literally anywhere else. With love, William P.S. management aside, my golf cart also stopped starting after the 4th hole requiring me to sort of "Flintstones" the cart by pushing it with one foot while pressing the gas with the other to pop start it... so that sucked too.

This course was in pretty good shape and the greens are pretty well kept as of this post in April. We were having a great day celebrating my Birthday with a round. We had a fourth that got tagged on to our threesome. He couldn’t have been nicer and we had fun with him too. At the very end of our round, we were berated about how we were hogging carts even though we paid and did everything in accordance with the pro shop. And obviously we didn’t know the 4th so we were confused because that sounds like a management issue. We have no control over the carts. They essentially said we were to blame for the cart shortage because we had 3 people plus a 4th that got a cart for a total of 3 carts. The older gentleman also yelled at us about the 90 degree rule. Which, if we are being honest, I don’t believe anyone follows without a Marshall there to enforce. I just think it was a missed opportunity to talk to us like normal human beings and possibly educate us on better etiquette in a calm and inviting tone rather than the hostile one we received. It was a major damper on an otherwise great day.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband and I were on the fourth hole when we were approached by the marshal, who stated that someone had reported our group for having seven players. In reality, there were only four of us playing. The situation was handled poorly from the start. The marshal then informed me that I had to return to the clubhouse because I was carrying my three-week-old baby in a carrier while riding in the golf cart. This was especially upsetting because it was my first outing since giving birth, and I was looking forward to spending time with my husband. Instead, I was separated from him and sent back to sit alone at the clubhouse while he finished all 18 holes. What disappointed me most was the marshal's rude and uncompromising attitude. There was no effort to handle the situation with understanding or respect. This course used to be one of my favorites, and I've played here many times, but the atmosphere now feels rushed and unwelcoming. Based on other reviews, it seems this particular marshal has been a recurring issue. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning.

I wanted to like Eagles Pride Golf Course because the course itself is actually very enjoyable. The layout is peaceful, the driving range is decent, and the clubhouse is adequate. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff was so poor that I will not be returning. The biggest issue was the customer service provided by Steve in the clubhouse. Throughout our visit, he was rude, argumentative, and dismissive, not only with me but with multiple groups around us as well. The most frustrating part of our visit involved golf carts. Before arriving, we specifically called and reserved two carts because my daughter has a disability and cannot comfortably walk an entire golf course. The employee who answered the phone had no issue making the reservation and assured us the carts would be available. When we arrived, Steve informed us that we could not have carts because we were only playing nine holes, claiming carts were only available for 18-hole rounds. We explained that we had reserved the carts in advance and that my daughter needed one due to her disability, but he continued to argue with us rather than trying to find a solution. Ultimately, I ended up paying for two 18-hole rounds plus a cart just so we could play nine holes with the cart we had already reserved. What really stood out was that this wasn’t just our experience. The group ahead of us commented that they had played Eagles Pride before and had never been treated so poorly. The group behind us was visiting from out of state and had never played the course before; after their interaction with Steve, they remarked that he was extremely rude. Watching multiple customers have negative interactions with the same employee made it clear that this was not an isolated incident. It’s unfortunate because the course itself is enjoyable and well worth playing. However, customer service matters, and the way we were treated completely overshadowed what otherwise could have been a great day of golf. Until management addresses these issues, I cannot recommend Eagles Pride Golf Course and will not be returning.

Avoid this golf course at all costs. Most of the staff are rude, condescending and dont have the capability of critical thinking to resolve a problem. There is an older man there, white hair, usually in the club house. If you see him literally walk the other way and avoid at all costs. He has piss poor customer service. I have seen him get into screaming matches with golfers, it happened to us once. There is no marshal, if there is one we never see him. It takes 5 to 6 hours to play 18 holes. You are waiting 10 to 15 minutes at each tee box. Groups refuse to let you play through. This happens everytime we come, regardless of the day or time of day or weather condition. All they need to do is adjust their scheduling system to allow a few more minutes in between players. Literally spend you money elsewhere. Avoid this course at all costs. Also you can tell by the previous reviews this is not a one off experience. The older man has clearly been an issue for a while. You can safely assume that not of the issues have been addressed with a long term resolution.
