Description

Suncadia Resort Prospector Course in Cle Elum is a resort-style mountain course designed by Arnold Palmer. The layout features wide fairways, massive greens, and gentle elevation changes. Ideal for groups and casual play, Prospector is less punishing than its sister course Rope Rider, but still delivers plenty of visual wow factor. Excellent conditions, luxury surroundings, and forested vibes make it a favorite for destination golfers.

I convinced my family to rent rooms for the weekend after Thanksgiving and I must say I was a tad disappointed. Content for the most part but not blown away like I was the first time I visited. Our room was great, clean, well maintained, awesome view, etc... HIGHLY recommend spending a little extra and staying in a penthouse suite. The pool is amazing, specially when you go at night (nicely lit). We got lucky with some snowfall while in the pool (heated) and it was an awesome experience. Here is why I dropped a star this time, 1.The lobby was filthy, empty drinks on every table and trash all over the floors. In their defense, it was VERY busy when we showed up to check in. But... someone should be actively picking up, it is not a good first impression for someone who hasn't been. 2.We like walking the trail to the pool, this was a mistake, it was a muddy walk. There is a plaza being built adjacent to the Lodge which will be great once finished but I wish we would have known so we didn't end up in the mud, in the dark. Nice thing is, there is a shuttle that you can take there and back. 3.The food at the restaurant hasn't gotten any better. It has an awesome view and great customer service but our food was cold and over-priced. $30 for a smash burger is pretty wild.

I would like to share my impressions regarding our recent stay at this resort. My family and I spent two wonderful days here towards the end of summer, and we were truly charmed by this cozy place. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the views were simply breathtaking—we could gaze at them for hours. The entire resort property was clean, quiet, and peaceful. Furthermore, we traveled around all the nearby towns and can confidently say that the resort boasts the most favorable and convenient location in the area. I would easily rate our family trip 5/5. The only minor drawback we encountered was in regard to housekeeping: We requested a cleaning service for our room (we left a message for the cleaning service and hung the "Please Make Up Room" sign on the door), but unfortunately, no one ever came to service the room during our stay. Despite this small oversight, everything else about our experience was highly satisfactory and met all our expectations. We look forward to visiting again.

Super excited to celebrate a birthday celebration! However, the resort seemed to fall short in many aspects. The rooms were nice but the hot water was nonexistent. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest because there were hairs in the shower from the previous guest. The shower needed to run for five minutes before any hot water appeared and the sink didn’t disperse any regardless of how long the water ran. The room service and food quality was disappointing. They spilled sauce all over the plate on the way to the room, therefore we lifted the covers to soggy food swimming in jelly. Which isn’t terrible, but for a 100$ room service breakfast? Definitely unacceptable. The food quality at the source restaurant was similar in the aspect that the flavor missed the mark. It’s like salt was used to overcompensate for the lack of flavor. The service at the restaurants were pretty slow, requiring us to ask for plates to be taken away to free up table space and no drink refills. They have one restaurant, the stove house but it’s closed Sunday. Strange hours for a weekend but oh well. The Glice skating is a minimal sized rink, the hot tub was nice but the bubble jets weren’t functional at the lodges hot tub. The s’mores were a nice touch. Unfortunately, the resort just lacked a lot in cleanliness, amenities and restaurants. We went off for dinner to the 9 Iron, the first amazing meal on our weekend trip and wasn’t nearly the cost of our lack luster meal at the source. I hope they use this review to make improvements for future guests. We wouldn’t stay again.

We recently stayed at Suncadia Resort for a surprise overnight getaway to celebrate a 60th birthday with my two girlfriends, and it was absolutely wonderful! The resort staff went above and beyond to make our stay special — not only did they upgrade our booking to a beautiful 2-bedroom suite, but they also surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne for the celebration. It truly made all the difference. The suite was extremely spacious and comfortable, and the resort itself was stunning to drive around (it was a bit too chilly to walk, but still lovely to explore). We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at night — it was perfectly warm and inviting. We’ll definitely be back! The only small tip I’d offer is to check what’s open before visiting, especially if you’re staying early in the week or in the off-season (we stayed on a Monday in late October and many things were closed). That said, we had a great time heading into nearby Roslyn for dinner and entertainment. A memorable and relaxing getaway — highly recommend!

I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The room was definitely outdated and the service was average. However, the river trail was lovely — quiet, with fresh air and beautiful surroundings. We walked and chatted for hours, which was the highlight of our stay. I booked the night using Hyatt points, so I could only get the “Resort View” room — which basically means no real view. The river view would have been much nicer. Still, since it was only for one night and we had both dinner and breakfast at the resort with a river/mountain view, it balanced out. As for the food, I’d read reviews beforehand and knew not to expect much. I just ordered a burger — overpriced, of course — but it was fine. Overall, not a bad stay for a short getaway, especially if you enjoy quiet walks by the river.
