Fun and unique corse, definitely want to come back for a 27 hole sprint. Played North & West combo. Kelley and staff were super accommodating. Thus far this course serves the best John Daily’s. 🍹👌

Great course! Well designed. Meticulously maintained. 3 separate sets of 9, so there is a reason to come back again to experience it all! Memorable signature holes! Free on your birthday as well! Clubhouse staff is very friendly and helpful! Worth checking out for sure, especially on your birthday!

Course is a blast. 3 distinct nines that all play a little different. Extremely good greens, some of the quicker ones I’ve played at any public course. Love making it out here. Also met one of the kindest and happiest starters ever. 90% of starters seem pissed so that was a very welcome interaction.

Avalon Golf Links is a golf course in Burlington made up of 3 separate 9 hole courses. You can play a combination of them totalling 18 or even 27, and they even used to have an all you can play option but I didn't see that when we got there last time. It's pretty easy to get to, only right off the main road about a minute. They have a big parking lot but it's setup kind of weird with a bunch of one ways and slanted spots so it can be tough to get around. Inside, they have a clubhouse with a small store with your basic necessities as well as a little restaurant area with a bar. The pro shop employees are nice and chatty, and the bar servers are funny to chat with. They have a driving range with about a dozen turf pads. Prices aren't too bad for range balls, and prices for the course play plus a cart are a bit high but they take good care of the course. Speaking of, the courses themselves are good. Well maintained greens, fairways in good condition, rough not too bad, and tee boxes were nice and flat. A lot of narrow holes here, but the greens are relatively flat and big. A few sand traps, which at the time were a bit hard, but overall still fine. Beverage cart service is on certain days (check their site for details) and stocked full of things to get. Overall, Avalon is a fun course and although a bit pricey, still worth playing. Book a tee time up to a week before hand since they tend to be fully booked a few days out.

** The golf here is fantastic and always has been. Run by some of the best staff, I don't know how the starter controls the madness of a 27 hole with multiple starts on different 9s but they make it work. Conditions are great and the layout is one of the best in the area. ** The star rating reflects overall but this review is more for the restaurant Sweet Bite. The food here has always been tasty, specifically the burgers and chicken sandwich. The waffle fries were a little stale and not crispy when we got it but this is the first time this has happened. My issue is with the drinks, it not only was a less than mediocre transfusion but they charged somewhere upwards of $15 for it. Bill was for 2 burgers at $15 each and a single transfusion came out to $50. If you're charging premium for an adult beverage, make sure it doesn't taste like it was made in large bucket for the entire day. **3 stars for the cafe. 5 stars for the course, averaging 4.
