Gamble sands!!! Wow absolutely breathtaking courses. Big standout for me was the staff, beyond friendly and accommodating from check-in to check-out. Standouts for me were Cole who was our starter on scarecrow the first day and gamble the second day. Then there was Kyle in the proshop who was so informative, helpful and kind. Can’t recommend this place enough! Food was also great!

The contrast of the high desert and the lush agriculture areas cultivated by the river is stunningly surreal. The courses are great equalizers. A long player can easily be punished if strategy isn't involved. Choosing landing zones and clubs wisely and allowing for plenty of run are rewarded. Make sure you choose your thinking cap for the day - strategy and course management are critical for a decent score. The restaurant is excellent. The staff all very helpful and friendly. Great golf destination experience. I took my husband there for his birthday celebration and loved the whole experience. Let the good times roll!

My wife and I were a bit hesitant about coming here to be honest. We had never done a "golf trip" and to do one, for her birthday seemed like it could be hit or miss. This place made it very clear early on that this wouldn't just be golf paradise on earth but something much more special than that. They're isnt just one good staff member, everyone is absolutely fantastic. They come across as professional and courteous but you can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do. You become part of the family pretty quickly for a few days and they hook you up with whatever you need, as best they can. They genuinely just enjoy being of service and want to make sure you have fun. Whatever that looks like for you. How the staff are day to day just bleeds into how everyone behaves while here. Guests say hello to each other, ask questions of each other, and dont mind cracking the odd one off joke around a complete stranger. The pro-golfer, good golfer only, get good and keep up with the fast pace play play place that I was worried about, is just not here. Everyone is here to have a good time and you want to keep up with the pace just so everyone can enjoy the same emaculate, beautiful golf hole you just did. It is golf mecca. The range is free. The putting course is fun. And if the cool staff, and cool guests and amazing golf dont do it for you. Just get food and look at the view all day. My wife is from another country and a less sarcastic comment than usual came out at hole 13 of "is this heaven, did we die" on the Scarecrow course. The view here is gorgeous and looks like a painting or windows screen saver in every direction. I write all this sitting at Danny boy restaurant exhausted in a good way from a very full day of golf just finishing a wonderful appetizer waiting on our steaks to arrive as the place is packed. One server just picked up our plate another came over just to talk and apologize for a bit of a wait as the place is packed. We are on the patio gazing down at the beautiful city below while golfers inside are clearly drunk telling their drunk stories about the days adventure. Looking inside almost looks like a painting you could see somewhere. People standing on chairs almost. Shouting about how one hole screwed them over and the other made up for it. Very grateful to have been able to come here and do this and im equally or greater as grateful to the people that make this happen. Thank you for a wonderful day. Looking forward to the rest.

From the moment I booked the room and golf it has been nothing but a headache. I never received any confirmation emails or anything confirming my stay OR tee times. Called to get them emailed, never happened. The day before I arrived they sent me and email saying thanks for visiting, when I haven't even checked in. Hours for the club house or barn ha good luck. Pitiful. If you're going to have certain times things open it would be helpful to let YOUR GUESTS KNOW when things open Or send a email before they fly or drive for HOURS! Update your Google and website for your hours. No where are hours posted on anything. The employees are rude, worst pro shop employee ive ever delt with. You consider yourself a golf destination, far from it. Ridiculous. Your better staying home save $ and play your local muni course. If you want REAL professional and great service go to Bandon Dunes instead!

Played both 18-hole courses in a single day, did not stay at the resort. As a golf experience it's definitely unmatched in the area. Expensive, yes, but it's worth the expense. Staff were universally friendly and helpful, the on-course facilities were well placed, the Barn restaurant at lunch was just what we needed. The courses are beautifully maintained and use the landscape in a way that presents a fair challenge with a lot of risk/reward. Views are incredible. I wish it wasn't three hours away from home!
