They recently added new pins on the range for refining your game. Of course, lessons with Andrew, the Head Pro, are a great way to improve one's game. His expertise and guidance are invaluable and definitely better results than watching YouTube pros who can’t analyze your swing like he can. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Joe and Jay, the starters, are always welcoming and ensure a smooth start to any round. They keep things running like a clock even at peak times. Graham, the groundskeeper, and his dedicated crew also deserve thanks. Their hard work over the seasons is evident in the condition of the course, from the greens to the fairways, making every round a pleasure. The unsung heroes. South Riding Golf Club is a great place, whether you're looking to improve your game with professional instruction or simply enjoy a round on a well-maintained and challenging course. The golf course offers an excellent experience for both beginners and seasoned players. The field is beautifully maintained, with well-manicured greens and fairways that make each game enjoyable. The course layout is thoughtfully designed, offering just the right balance of challenge and relaxation. Staff members are courteous, professional, and always ready to assist. Overall, it’s a well-managed facility that provides a great environment for golfing and leisure. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality and comfort on the course.

Excellent condition from tees to green. Yes there are a couple very minor spots (most of which were already marked off) in the fairways that need some attention but you'll need to look for them. Tee boxes are flat, aerated, and drain well. The greens are in great condition allowing just the right amount of bite on approach and rolling smooth on putts. The course layout offers a variety of tee selection that aren't just 5 yds apart for different skill levels. Practice green and driving range are in good condition mimicking actual playing conditions. Cart service during the round was regular, well stocked and friendly. It would be nice to see a little more signage at the tee boxes (what hole is this?) There is however multiple yardage markers throughout the fairways (sticks, sprinkler heads) and pin locations are clearly marked locations (a,b,c) on provided chart in the cart. Overall a great golfing experience!!

Excellent experience! Fantastic field with great team. I started playing golf here with my instructor Andrew and keep improving with his amazing tips. Highly recommended if you want to begin learning this great sport.

South Riding Golf Club has been an amazing place for my family, especially my 9-year-old son, Oliver, who started here knowing absolutely nothing about golf. The staff and environment are always welcoming, and the facilities are very well maintained — perfect for both beginners and experienced players alike. A special shout-out to Coach Andrew, who has been nothing short of exceptional. His patience, encouragement, and ability to connect with kids make a world of difference. When my son first started, he didn’t even know how to hold a club; now he’s not only confident but genuinely passionate about golf — even starting to play out on the course! Andrew has an incredible gift for teaching fundamentals in a fun and engaging way, helping kids build both skills and love for the game. If you’re looking for a great golf course with a positive, family-friendly atmosphere and one of the best coaches around, South Riding Golf Club (and especially Coach Andrew) is the place to go. Highly recommended!
