Played this course on a family vacation. Very challenging course, with a lot of slopes, blind shots, sloping greens, and hidden creeks. Also, I've got to see a ton of wildlife. Even with it being challenging, it was still a very enjoyable round of golf. Recommend if in the area to play.

Wow.. Played on a Saturday and the sheet was full. Pace of play was unbelievable for a full T sheet. Finished in inder 4 hours, that gets 10 stars in my book. Greens were great, fairways great, and T boxes were good. Staff was fabulous, from the pro shop to the starter, all fantastic. Scenery was some of the best around.

I'm a little conflicted on this course. The views are stunning, but the greens are in bad shape. On top of that, they tried to claim only 10/12 of us paid. So they charged us for two extra golfers. We had to bring in all 12 receipts to prove we all paid. I don't see how you can mess that up, and put the burden of proof on the golfers instead of your own POS system. It honestly put a bad taste in our mouths for the round.

Mountain Greens golf course at Massanutten Resort is among the best public golf courses in the Shenandoah Valley. The course was in amazing shape considering the lack of rain across the state of Virginia throughout the spring months and was a blast to play. The layout of the course is extremely tight and features severely sloping fairways making accuracy off the tee a must to recording a good score. I enjoyed my round here and was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the affordability of the course.

Very fun golf course. Keep it in play though 😆. Fairways and greens are in good shape, sand traps could use some help. Tons of wildlife photos opportunities. Tame deer and ground hogs.
