Caverns Country Club is best known for its unique “Virginia Valley” character—rolling land, mature trees, and a setting that feels tied to the region’s limestone-and-ridge geography. The course tends to play as traditional parkland golf, where keeping the ball in play and managing approach distances are the keys to scoring. It’s not usually about over-the-top hazards; it’s the steady demand for solid fundamentals and avoiding short-sided misses. The club atmosphere is typically community-oriented, emphasizing repeat play, member events, and a comfortable pace. For golfers, it’s the kind of course that becomes more enjoyable the more you learn it—subtle angles, familiar winds, and greens that reward local knowledge.

This golf course is a total steal! 🏌️‍♂️ The views are jaw-dropping, with lush fairways and greens in top-notch shape—easily outshining other Virginia Beach courses I’ve played. The staff’s super friendly, making you feel right at home. It’s got some challenging holes that keep things exciting, though the bugs can be a bit annoying. Still, for the price, it’s an absolute gem worth every penny. My buddy dragged me out here, and I’m so glad he did! If you’re nearby, don’t sleep on this course—it’s a must-play for any golfer looking for a fun, scenic round.
