It’s a great course that has been kept up well. The course is challenging in the right ways. It’s a gem for Southwest Virginia!

Fairways are tight and the greens are fairly small. Pace of play was more than four hours. The course has a lot of rough and makes it difficult to find your ball if you're not in the fairway. This definitely adds to the pace of play. The new clubhouse is very nice - get the chili cheese dog! Kudos to one of the staff members who brought us a different cart because our screen wasn't working. Carts have GPS which is nice. Beautiful scenery. Greens were in pretty decent shape. Fairways could use some TLC and keeping the rough lower will help with pace of play. Overall, a fine experience, but it's not quite in the shape it could/should be.

Depends what you are looking for. I found the people working there were nice. The course wasn’t busy on a Thursday morning. It was about $65 for 3 people to play, with a cart and a bucket of range balls. I played with my wife and 8-year old son, so it was good for us, but compared to the standards at typical golf courses, the course is in terrible condition. The greens were about as slow as putting on the fairways at most courses. The 5th hole has nice views and is fun to hit over a part of the lake.

Had not been there for several years. Impressive improvements to the clubhouse and course. Greens were in great shape. Bar and restaurant at the clubhouse, fully paved cart paths and new carts with GPS.
