Scott County Park & Golf Course is a community recreation-style facility in Southwest Virginia, built around accessible golf and a welcoming public-park atmosphere. The course is typically designed to be approachable, with hole lengths and layouts that support a good pace and encourage newer golfers. It rewards fundamentals—keeping the ball in play, controlling wedges, and putting well—more than power. The setting often feels outdoorsy and relaxed, aligning with the park environment rather than a formal club vibe. Overall, it’s a great example of “park golf” in Virginia—simple, friendly, and built for the community.

Rented the clubhouse , event hall for a special occasion/birthday party. Extremely nice hall for $100.00 for the entire evening. Has all the modern conviences needed for serving or prepari g food , tables and chairs , full kitchen. A gas fire place. A great place to have a a memorable occasion all surrounded by breath taking scenery. Also must mention the golf course itself is kept emachulate. A must for a great time in Scott County , VA.

Of clover - It could use more. It offers at least some value to pollinators! Peaceful scenery on a foggy January afternoon. It's so big, vast There could be room for sun loving native wildflowers and grasses.
