Country Club of Fairfax is a Northern Virginia private club that’s known for traditional member golf in a region where real estate and terrain can make routing tricky. The course typically plays as classic parkland golf—tree-lined corridors, strategic bunkering, and greens that reward being on the correct side more than simply being on the green. It’s the kind of place where you can’t fake it with distance alone; you need control and course management to score. The club atmosphere is a big part of the appeal, with events and a steady member calendar supporting repeat play. Overall, it’s a “true local private club” option in Fairfax—consistent, strategic, and built around member culture.

We had a little visitor running around in dining room. A little mouse kept us company which entertained the kids but for us adults was GROSS! What was the worse part was the attitude of the people in the restaurant, when we told them they were really nonchalant about it and told us they are aware of their little guest and trying to get rid of it. I could have been okay with that explanation if it wasn’t the restaurant and so close to the food I just ate 😱🤢

CCFFX was my first choice of venue and for good reason. Our wedding was yesterday and it was the most amazing day all thanks to the team of CCFFX, especially Claire! The venue was all inclusive with food, spaces, silverware, and linens which made my life easier on planning! I could not recommend a venue enough!! The menu was also completely customizable and the food was AMAZING!

Very elegant. I attended the annual legislative breakfast meeting. There is plenty of parking lot, great venue for a good crowd, great service. I like their landscaping

Not just golf but also great for families!! Our little guy is always excited to eat at the restaurant. Restaurant playroom is a plus. Granted, golf and or tennis is required to justify membership cost.
