The Palmer side at Bay Creek tends to feel a bit more flowing and natural, using the property’s landscape to create holes that look inviting but still have plenty of bite. Expect a strong sense of “place” here—native textures, water, and breezes that keep you honest from tee to green. Palmer designs often reward confident, athletic swings, but this one still gives you playable routes if you choose conservative targets. The real fun is variety: different looks off tees, approach shots that change shape and elevation, and finishing stretches where the environment is as memorable as the golf. If you’re making a trip to Cape Charles, the Palmer course is a big reason Bay Creek feels like a true golf destination rather than just a community layout.

Amazing property with an incredible golf course and amenities. We also took a boat ride across the bay. Life Center with a full gym and pool was amazing for the families.

Bay Creek is a coastal gem. 5 stars isn’t enough. Stunning private beaches, world-class golf courses, and a welcoming community under new ownership make this place special. The marina and nearby Cape Charles shops add charm. Highly recommend.
