The Olde Farm in Bristol is one of Virginia’s elite private golf experiences, widely regarded for top-tier architecture, immaculate conditioning, and a pure “championship club” atmosphere. The course typically rewards disciplined shotmaking and strategic decision-making, with green complexes and hazards that demand precision rather than allowing easy recoveries. It plays as a stern test for strong players, yet it’s also admired for how fair the challenge feels—clear shot values, but real consequences for misses. The overall experience is refined and quiet, emphasizing golf quality and member culture over flash. If you’re thinking “best of the best” in Virginia private golf, The Olde Farm is firmly in that conversation.

The staff is so amazing and responsive, food is delicious and the setting could not be more divine. We love working with their amazing team! We were honored to plan a wedding in May 2019 and it was perfect! Positive Approach Weddings and Events was thrilled to work alongside you all for Katie and Austin's big day!
