Belle Haven is a classic Alexandria-area private club that feels uniquely “D.C.-Virginia,” with Potomac River proximity and a traditional parkland layout vibe. The course is known for being playable and fun while still requiring good positioning—there are birdie chances, but sloppy play quickly turns into scramble-and-save mode. Its charm is how it blends old-school club atmosphere with a course that asks for solid fundamentals: good driving lines, sharp wedges, and confident putting. The setting along the parkway corridor makes it feel tucked away even though it sits in a very connected part of the region. Overall, it’s the kind of member course you can happily play on repeat, learning small edges over time rather than solving it in one round.

Great place to host events: multiple meetings rooms and spaces of different sizes. Good location right off highway 495. Car valet. Attended a Realtor event and the food was great! (I forgot to take a picture of my plate)

Had our wedding here and planned it with our planner Molly Radigan who is fantastic by the way. Kathleen P. was amazing with every detail. Our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We are so grateful for Kathleen and her staff!

Attended a private event. Appetizers were served which were ok. The grounds were expansive and the building had an old world charm. While dated they were going updates and the activities seems well equipped.
