Basin Harbor was the most incredible venue we could have ever imagined for our wedding. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. Everywhere you look, there’s natural beauty that feels serene, intimate, and quintessentially Vermont. One of the biggest perks was having all of our guests stay onsite. It created such a warm, connected atmosphere and allowed everyone to relax, enjoy the lakefront setting, and truly be present for every part of the weekend. No transportation logistics, no stress—just time together in a beautiful place. We hosted multiple events across the property, and each one felt unique while still maintaining that signature Basin Harbor charm. Our welcome dinner, wedding ceremony and reception, and post-wedding picnic/lunch were all at different locations, and each space brought its own personality to the experience. Guests kept telling us how incredible it was to enjoy completely different vibes without ever having to leave the resort. And the food was truly exceptional. Every single meal exceeded expectations. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. The culinary team put so much care into everything they served, and it absolutely showed. Basin Harbor gave us the wedding weekend of our dreams. It was beautiful, seamless, and full of heart in every detail. We couldn’t recommend it more highly to anyone looking for a venue that combines natural beauty, convenience, and an unforgettable guest experience.

Our family truly loves this special place. The setting is beautiful, the service is amazing, and there is plenty to occupy all of my kids!

Happy to leave a very positive review for Basin Harbor (though I am not one to leave reviews). Our cabin was comfortable and clean. The staff was remarkably friendly. The grounds were beautiful. The views of the lake were amazing. We left North Carolina to get out of the heat and take in some beauty. We got both. Highly recommend.

We, as a senior couple, enjoyed Basin Harbor. For those with young children, it would be even better. A few glitches in service but the vast majority of staff are friendly and eager to help. Eating here is expensive and they would be well served by a few more options, particularly for breakfast.

Very nice grounds, Lakeside Adirondack chairs, and friendly staff abound. Lots of facilities to enjoy and Harbor toys. Ample breakfast buffet. Our hotel room had a lovely balcony overlooking the harbor Made it extra special. The $35 boat tour was a well worth the outing.
