We like to stay at this hotel because it offers activities to kids when not skiing. It has a play room with Wii system, a pool table, a ping pong table and a racketball court (no extra fee). It's super convenient. We've been staying here everytine we come to Stowe for about 5-6 years, they invested into upgrading the interior and rooms, looks very nice, can't beat it for the price and activities. Employees are always nice and very helpful. We will keep coming back (even after kids get older) and would recommend to friends.

Terrible experience with the townhouses- no heat in our unit when I checked in pregnant with a toddler. Our monitor registered 57 degrees in the unit and it was snowing. Instead of offering a different unit staff tried to get us to stay in the room with space heaters and suggested we light a fire. Also suggested I sleep on a different floor from my toddler and leave him in the room with space heater. Finally pushed them to give us a new unit, which hadn’t been cleaned or prepped at all when we got over there after repacking and moving in the snow. Upper management’s response was to tell me they weren’t responsible for providing heat and the townhouses are privately owned. Explained that it took so long to move us over because they were off site having a family dinner and the front desk staff couldn’t reach them to get authorization for a new room. Completely rude and combative when I explained we had stayed there many times before and just wanted some fair compensation for the inconvenience. In addition, despite the amenities listing a crib the staff told me there wasn’t one so I had to incur the additional cost of renting from an outside company. Rented crib wasn’t in the room when we arrived and had to make multiple calls to the front desk for it to be delivered. Come to find out from rude upper management they did have a crib and despite the desk staff giving me false information refused to offer me any compensation for the trouble. Really disheartening to see managements complete disregard for liability or public health and added a lot of stress to what was supposed to be a relaxing family trip.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa! The staff was incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. They even upgraded us with a cozy fireplace in our room for just $180, which made the whole experience feel extra special. The resort was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The spa amenities were top-notch, and the atmosphere throughout the property was peaceful and well-kept. We truly felt taken care of the entire time. Highly recommend Stoweflake if you’re looking for a warm, family-friendly, and relaxing stay in Stowe! Will definitely be returning! 🌲🔥💙

From the moment we arrived, everything was just so comfortable and welcoming. The check-in process was quick and easy, and our room was clean and cozy. The lobby was one of my favorite parts as it was beautifully decorated and always had a fire going in the fireplace. The lobby also always has tea and the continental breakfast was lovely. Although, what really makes this hotel stand out is the kind staff. My mom and I accidentally got locked out of our car, right after checking out of our room. It was a stressful moment to say the least, but the staff did everything they could to help us. They called around for us and found a locksmith that could get us back into the car. Duncan in particular was incredibly compassionate. He reassured me that everything would be ok, made me and my mom laugh, and even offered to buy us ice cream at the place across the street; incredible! This type of comfort and kindness is not easy to find. If you have the chance to stay here, please do! You’ll have peace of mind knowing that the staff here cares about you, which in this day and age is priceless.

We had the best experience at Stoweflake Mountain Resort. We stayed in a 2 bedroom townhouse that was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed included beautiful snowy views. The general manager Duncan went out of his way to make our stay incredibly special. He invited our 8th grade friend who were traveling with to perform her oboe in the lobby as a “mini concert” and he was generous and thoughtful to even leave her an envelope with $20 in it. This was above and beyond and made all of our experience so remarkable. The staff was so nice and the pool and fitness area was great fun for all. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful memorable vacation.
