Just an absolutely terrific atmosphere, my son and I played there yesterday. September 4th, the course is in fabulous shape. It is an absolutely fun place to play and the staff is just exceptional. We had a great meal afterwards in the Clubhouse and I've never met so many friendly people, even the people that were playing were very pleasant. I would recommend this place to everyone. If you ever get a chance to play at Montague, do it

Hidden Gem! I've played there a dozen or so times over the last few years, it is an hour drive to get to for me. I am never disappointed, the staff is always super friendly! Recently I played in the member guest, the course was in great shape, the greens especially, they were fast and true! The superintendent was there all day and even joined in! Worth every penny! Great job to all at Montague!

Surprisingly pleasant course sort of hidden away in Randolph, Vermont. Well maintained greens, fairways and bunkers. The course was originally 9 holes with the back 9 added later, so the layout and feel of the front and back are very different. A bit on the short side, so long hitters won't be using their drivers on many holes. Pleasant staff. Modest pro shop. Gas carts with no GPS. Walkable course, but would recommend carts due to some of the terrain. My round was just under $50 with cart, so good value for the money.

Played there in a tournament 2 weeks ago and had a great round. The course itself was in pretty good condition considering the drought. Good course for a novice golfer as there are only a few real challenging holes. Friendly staff and a nice facility. The only issue I had and why I gave it 4 stars is that the tee boxes are not marked, and on a couple of the holes it was kind of confusing as to which direction you were supposed to head.

Wow! What a beautiful course! Had so tough greens that were fun to play! Also has a very friendly staff what was willing to do whatever they could to be of help!
