Fore Lakes Golf Course in Taylorsville feels less like a golf course and more like a swamp with a duck 🦆 named MR.QUAKERS! The ducks outnumber the golfers, and they act like they own the place, barking orders at you for daring to retrieve your ball. Half the fairways feel like you’re teeing off into a neighbor’s backyard, which is great if you’ve ever wanted to introduce yourself by smashing a Titleist through their kitchen window. The water hazards are so aggressive they might qualify as small lakes. By the back nine, I started wondering if this was a golf course or an elaborate duck mafia trap. Still, I’ll be back, because nowhere else can you lose twelve balls and your dignity for such a reasonable green fee.

11/18/25 played a round of 9 on the executive course with my good buddy Jim. Really nice course, i actually played my best round ever! Only 20 over. Really nice driving range and two practice Putting greens.

Today was awesome for my buddy Mike, first birdie ever on the par 3! Fore Lakes is seriously our hidden gem and you’ve gotta come see why we call this place our spot. Hands down the best par 3 in town. The people in the golf shop are amazing too, super chill and welcoming, not like some places that make you feel bad for playing their course. We love this place, come check it out!

Great way to brush up on your par 3's with a executive course .

Great course for beginners or anyone looking to sharpen their short game! The front 9 is a Par 3 course—short, fun, and forgiving. The back 9 (executive course) adds a little more variety without being too challenging. It’s easy to walk, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxed round. Friendly vibes and a great place to learn or just enjoy a casual day on the course.
