My wife and I took my son and his new wife to Talon Cove this past Saturday for a round of golf to celebrate his birthday, and we couldn't have picked a better day. The temperatures were perfect, and the views throughout the course were incredible. The course was in excellent condition, with the fairways and greens looking great. The pace of play was a little slow, but only a few minutes behind the target, so it wasn't a major issue. Talon Cove is a challenging course and fairly long, but it is also incredibly interesting and fun to play. Many of the holes offer beautiful vistas that make you want to stop and take in the scenery while you're playing. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Talon Cove to anyone looking for a challenging and scenic round of golf. We will definitely be back!

Kid in the pro shop full up lied to us when we said we would like to PAY to rent an extra cart because one guy had to leave early. He said “no we’re going to run out of carts today.” We pulled in after a quick 9 and there were even more carts than when we left. I didn’t see any Course Marshalls and there lots of shenanigans from a group in front of us causing massive backups. Nice course, just seemed like maybe it’s the same people who run The Ranches that are in charge.

The maintenance crew here are some of the most entitled despicable people. For some reason they think it’s okay to have mowers going on every single hole at 11:30 in the day. These guys would not stop for anyone and to top it off they were deliberately coming inches close to us almost shredding my foot at one point. Will never come again, I have played over 100 rounds this year and this was the first course where we had workers mid day on the holes as if no one was playing. Absolutely terrible this place needs a revamp as it sits on a nice area but some of the worst course management I have ever seen.

It wasn't a bad drive from Salt Lake City. The staff is very friendly, from the clubhouse to the café. Molly gives some nice pointers on your swing if you ask. We played the front nine and it was very enjoyable. The course is in great shape. Loved how fast the greens were.

PSA as of 07/26/25 the greens are in bad shape due to fungus issue. They seem to be healing now, but every green on the course is in rough shape. I know it's hard to maintain quality greens, but just letting everyone know so you aren't paying full price for this. Love this layout and hope conditions can improve.
