Beautiful and difficult course. The rough is definitely rough. Tilts and turns of the course are tricky but overall beautiful. I was so impressed with the overall community and members. Food and drinks and staff. So much fun. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you for the hospitality from Pennsylvania.

One of the worst places, if not the worst. Almost got me injured and likely would have led to a road accident. It was the course’s insufficient safety measures, but we were directed to hold an individual golfer responsible instead. Fortunately, I had dashcam footage and was able to identify the person. Still, I feel sorry for their members for this high risk. The course sits extremely close to the highway with only minimal fencing and no warning signs. Yet when incidents happen, the burden is placed entirely on the players.

My husband and I were driving on Highway 89, a golf ball from this course struck our car and shattered the windshield. This happened on a public roadway, not inside the golf course. We later learned that incidents like this may not be uncommon in this area. The golf ball hit the driver-side and the situation could have been much worse. Surprisingly, the golf course stated that they are not responsible and that liability falls on the individual who hit the ball despite that being located next to the highway and having low fencing. I see how this kind of position may reduce the incentive to improve safety measures.

I’m not a member here, but I had the chance to visit recently—and it honestly left a lasting impression. The Ogden Golf & Country Club is one of those places that feels completely unique to Utah. It’s not trying to be a flashy, ultra-exclusive white-collar club, and it’s definitely not blue-collar either. It sits somewhere in between, and that balance is what makes it special. You can feel the history the moment you arrive. This club has been around for more than a century and it shows in the best possible way—there’s a sense of tradition, pride, and community that feels authentic, not manufactured. The course itself is beautiful and extremely well maintained, something many visitors mention when they review the club. The views of the mountains surrounding Ogden make it one of the most scenic golf experiences in northern Utah. What really stood out to me, though, was the culture of the place. It feels like it represents the character of Ogden itself—hard-working people, families, professionals, and locals who appreciate tradition but are still building toward the future. It’s not pretentious. It’s not overly polished. It’s genuine. That combination is rare. If you ever get the opportunity to visit—even as a guest—I highly recommend it. The Ogden Golf & Country Club is more than just a golf course. It feels like a place where the past, present, and future of Ogden all meet in one community space.

What a pleasant surprise. Golf is a hole in one at OGCC. The club house is equally nice. You're gonna want to come here often. See you there. Golf the all American sport.
