I don’t get up here often, but was shocked to get a same-day last minute tee time. It’s such a beautiful golf course. The staff was great. The course is in great condition. The fee was less expensive than any course in Utah County and in better condition than most. Probably the only public equal in Utah County is Hobble Creek.

Gorgeous golf course! This course is one of our favorites and love seeing all the deer roaming the course. Each hole has a different level of difficulty and we greatly enjoy going here.

Such a frustrating mix of good and bad. Pros: Absolutely beautiful, well maintained, great design. Cons: Practically zero flow management. Your round WILL take 30+ minutes longer than it should (per 9 holes), every time. No marshal on Sunday (or maybe ever?). Course and range closed for random events constantly. I'd suggest calling them to confirm the range is open every time before heading over. I bought a range punch pass that I cannot seem to get through because of closures. Awful tee time booking rules, especially if you are a single player. Booking website hasn't worked right for single golfers for months. I also recently found out they have standing tee times booked out permanently, which shouldn't be happening on a municipal course. If I can't book until 3 days prior, then not sure why someone who's the buddy of the course manager should have a standing tee time every Saturday morning. I can be on the website spamming the refresh button leading into the 9PM release time and no matter what, all the decent weekend times are gone the moment they are opened for booking. They never even appear. Good luck getting on the course. Once you do, expect a very slow round.

Valley View is the pinnacle of public golf courses in Northern Utah! The views are fantastic. There's ample elevation change throughout the course, with some holes playing uphill and some playing down. Course maintenance is as good as can be expected for the price point. The design is thoughtful and takes advantage of some of the natural terrain features, with other features tastefully scattered throughout. Bunkers are very playable. Greens are fast and challenging. Some fairways are forgiving of errant shots, others are narrow without a lot of room for error, encouraging the use of clubs besides driver for some tee shots. Wildlife is prevalent; chances are you'll see several mule deer throughout a round. The only downside is how difficult it is to get tee times on popular days. Being a nice course that's priced reasonably, it's popular. Weekday times are easier. But when you do get a time, bring your A-game and enjoy!

What a beautiful Golf Course. Super fun and challenging. The greens will definitely stump you. The location of the hole is vey tricky. I saw a deer very up close and personal.
