Amazing course in great condition. I went out to play yesterday afternoon knowing the greens had been punched a couple days before. The course was in great shape with the exception of I believe hole 17 that needed some work in the fairways. Back 9 is special and nothing really like it. The gentleman at the pro shop let me start on the back 9 to avoid being backed up on the front and the pace of play was amazing so thanks to him!

I don’t know what the recent reviews are referring to. This course is amazing and I’m great condition. We had a group of 12 guys with back to back tee times and everything went super smooth. Service was great, staff was friendly, and the course itself…. Wow. Tee boxes and fairways were immaculate. The greens were quick and firm. They didn’t hold very well and played more like links style greens with lots of contour and undulations. Would recommend this to any group visiting the area.

Played the Championship Course the first week in June and had a blast. Course was in great shape from tee to green and well worth visit. Pace of play was pretty good considering the layout and which was about 4.5 hours. My only concern with the course was that the GPS on the carts showed the wrong pin locations, which normally wouldn't be a big deal but Sand Hollows greens are massive...sometimes showing the pin in a location that could easily be 20-30 yards off. The starter, who was very nice and personable, told us that in his 2 years of working at the course the only time the pins had been off was the day before our round. I guess they didn't change the GPS the day we were there either. I'm not sure why other reviews are so harsh on the pro shop. I don't go to a golf course and expect thousands of square feet of merchandise. I go to the course to play golf. If you're planning on making a trip to the St George area Sand Hollow is a must play!

I read some bad reviews before going but decided to give it a chance because of the supposed top 100 golf course rating and I'm glad I did. The course was in beautiful shape. The reviews were totally wrong. I loved this place and the back nine is really out of a video game it is so beautiful. The staff were nice and the game play was fast I finished the round in about 4 hours.

This place was so amazing… the scenery, the greens, the food everything. It was laid out so well, not many trees, but some challenging holes. I just enjoyed the rock formations and looking at the houses around. I highly recommend this to anybody who plays golf and is in the Utah area.
