Had a tee time for 4 with a rider and “their policy” is no more than 3 carts per group. Golf course is DEAD! But they stuck to their policy which I guess is fine but we took our money else where. Guy was super rude about it too! Never going back! Golf is supposed to be fun with friends and family but not when the course employees think they’re the only golf course around. Good luck with your policies! We all good! Going to enjoy golfing elsewhere.

Crane Field is a lesser known course that is just as enjoyable as most courses in the area. It is reasonably cheap and they have a nice driving range where they let you hit from the grass which is nice. Currently only a portion of the putting green is open though.

Good course overall. Great course to walk! No serious hills. The front 9 grass is much much better than the back. I have golfed it many many times. The back nine has a lot of hard lies during the summer so if that upset you don’t golf the back nine. Overall fun course and I have enjoyed golfing it but it is not a course that you are going to be in awe of the beautiful scenery.

I've been golfing at Cranefield Golf Course for the past two years, and the improvements during that time have been impressive. It's clear that management has invested a lot of effort into making the course better, and it definitely shows. The conditions continue to improve, and the course is always enjoyable to play. I also appreciate that management promotes pace of play, proper golf etiquette, and respect for the course. Those expectations help create a better experience for everyone on the course. Thank you to the entire team for your hard work and commitment to making Cranefield a great place to golf. Keep up the great work!

This place has potential, but it’s gonna take a few years to reach it. Here’s the cool thing: I think they know it and the price is right. Cheapest round we’ve played all year. By a long shot. That said, every other green we played on the back 9 had some sort of repair going on. There was mulch, nets, pits with sand, all on the putting green. The geese were a bit out of control too, but that might be a seasonal thing. So many geese and so much goose crap. We were worried we’d hit a goose on multiple holes. There are hardly any trees here. They would do well to invest in the most mature trees they can get and start planting now. I can tell they are working on things for the future, and it’s going to take some time. This is a course to work on your game for now, Not a destination golf course. I saved the best for last though... Awesome driving range. It had benches, tables, shade, good mats and they all had good rubber tees. They’re just about done with the putting green and it’s looking great. This place will be pretty rad in 5-10 years… As long as they buy the most mature trees they can get NOW, like this week, and take care of them. The greens keepers working here will make or break this course in the coming years. I wish you guys the best and hope to give a 5* one day. You get 4 for now because the price is just right. I will definitely be back.
